The Ponderosa Bruins routed the host Union Mine Diamondbacks basketball team by a final score of 54-33 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 5. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.

With the defeat, Union Mine moves to 5-2 on the year. The Diamondbacks travel to Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA) to face the Broncos in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 20. The Broncos enter the game with a record of 4-7. Bella Vista lost 40-32 in their recent non-league game against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA)
