In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Millington Cardinals basketball team scored a big 49-23 win over the Vassar Vulcans.

The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Valley Lutheran was trounced by Reese (Reese, MI), 58-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vulcans battle the Reese Rockets (Reese, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Vassar will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
