Arkansas High School Basketball - Rivercrest nips Manila
December 19, 2023: Wilson, AR 72395 Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Manila Lions (Manila, AR), 65-60 in a league bout.
With the victory, Rivercrest upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Colts host Piggott (Piggott, AR) to play the Mohawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Mohawks come into the bout with a record of 0-10. Piggott lost 62-42 in their recent league bout against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR)
Next up, the Lions play the Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Manila will attempt to move on its 6-8 season record. The Bearkatz enter the game with a 3-6 record after their 70-59 league loss to Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR).
