Arkansas High School Basketball - Rivercrest tops Gosnell
January 24, 2024: Wilson, AR 72395 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR) and the visiting Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR), saw Rivercrest's basketball squad knock off Gosnell by a count of 72-55.
With the victory, Rivercrest upgrades its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Manila (Manila, AR) to play the Lions in a 3A Region 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 11-13. Manila won 60-38 in their recent league challenge against Piggott (Piggott, AR)
Next up, the Pirates play the Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Gosnell will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
