Arkansas High School Basketball - Rivercrest holds off Osceola
February 6, 2024: Osceola, AR 72370 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR) and the host Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR), saw Rivercrest's basketball squad hold off Osceola by a tally of 71-68.
With the victory, Rivercrest improves its record to 24-2 on the campaign. The Colts host East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 14-10. East Poinsett County won 56-43 in their recent league challenge against Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR)
Next up, the Seminoles confront the Manila Lions (Manila, AR) in a 3A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, February 9. Osceola will attempt to improve on its 16-13 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 12-17 record after their 68-58 non-league loss to Rector (Rector, AR).
