With the victory, Waterbury Career Academy improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Oxford (Oxford, CT) to confront the Wolverines in a Naugatuck Valley challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Oxford lost 57-48 in their recent league challenge against St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT)
Next up, the Greyhounds confront the Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Naugatuck will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
