The Middlesex Chargers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host King & Queen Central Royal Tigers to 37 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Mathews for a Tidewater game on Thursday, January 2. Middlesex will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 41-26 league loss to West Point (West Point, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, King & Queen Central falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Royal tigers travel to King William (King William, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a Tidewater game on Monday, January 6. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 1-7.
