Virginia High School Basketball - West Point holds off King & Queen Central
December 12, 2024: King & Queen Court House, VA 23085 The West Point Pointers basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host King & Queen Central Royal Tigers to 40 in the Pointers league triumph on Thursday.
The Pointers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Westmoreland for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. West Point will confront a Eagles team coming off a 54-31 non-league loss to Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, King & Queen Central falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Royal tigers host Northumberland (Heathsville, VA) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Indians go into the game with a record of 2-1. Northumberland won 34-26 in their recent non-league game against Mathews (Mathews, VA)
