Texas High School Basketball - Alto tops Cayuga
December 2, 2023: Cayuga, TX 75681 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX) and the host Cayuga Wildcats (Cayuga, TX), saw Alto's basketball squad knock off Cayuga by a count of 58-49.
With the victory, Alto upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Latexo (Latexo, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Latexo won 47-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Snook (Snook, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Cayuga will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 62-51 non-league loss to Hubbard (Hubbard, TX).
