La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX), 55-39 in a league bout.

With the win, La Grange upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Leopards travel to O'Connell (Galveston, TX) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. O'Connell won 71-50 in their recent league bout against Grace Christian Academy (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Ducks play the Travis Rebels (Austin, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 53-36 league loss to McCallum (Austin, TX).
