Georgia High School Basketball - Mitchell County nips Miller County
December 20, 2022: Colquitt, GA 39837 Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA), 56-51 in a league bout.
With the win, Mitchell County upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Central (Macon, GA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Central lost 62-42 in their recent non-league bout against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA)
Next up, the Pirates play the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Miller County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 58-57 non-league win over Cairo (Cairo, GA).
