North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkwood crushes Sun Valley

December 20, 2022: Monroe, NC 28110

Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 60-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Parkwood upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Wolf Pack host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to clash with the Colts in a 2A/3A Conference 44 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 1-7.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Sun Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 43-42 league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
