Iowa High School Basketball - Grundy Center holds off East Marshall
December 20, 2024: Le Grand, IA 50142 The Grundy Center Spartans basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host East Marshall Mustangs to 65 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Aplington-Parkersburg for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Grundy Center will confront a Falcons team coming off a 68-45 non-league win over South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, East Marshall falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to South Tama County (Tama, IA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 1-5.
