The High Plains Storm bounced the visiting Giltner Hornets basketball squad by a final score of 72-29 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Storm clash with the Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 3. High Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.

The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Heartland (Henderson, NE). The Huskies come into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Heartland was overwhelmed by Thayer Central (Hebron, NE), 47-42, in a league outing.
