In Thursday's league test, the High Plains Storm (Polk, NE) basketball squad trounced the host Hampton Hawks (Hampton, NE), by a score of 66-40.

Next, the Storm clash with the Newman Grove/St. Edward Panthers (Newman Grove, NE) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. High Plains will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 51-45 non-league loss to Twin River (Genoa, NE).

The Hawks (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Osceola (Osceola, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 4-6 record.
