The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) and the visiting High Plains Storm (Polk, NE), observed McCool Junction's basketball team edge High Plains by a score of 54-48.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sutton (Sutton, NE). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Sutton edged Heartland (Henderson, NE), 56-28, in a non-league challenge.
