Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE), 55-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Cross County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars host Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE) to face the Huskies in a C2 District 4 match on Friday, December 6. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 0-0.
