In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Shelby-Rising City Huskies basketball team scored a big 67-35 win over the Hampton Hawks.

The Huskies (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Nebraska Lutheran was trounced by High Plains (Polk, NE), 46-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE) in a D2 District 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Hampton will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record.
