Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI), 42-26 in a league match.

With the victory, Ponaganset upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Westerly (Westerly, RI) to face the Bulldogs in a Division 1 match on Saturday, December 21. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-1. Westerly lost 50-42 in their recent league match against Barrington (Barrington, RI)
