New York High School Basketball - St. Raymond Boys nips Iona Prep
December 20, 2024: New Rochelle, NY 10804 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Raymond Boys Ravens basketball team scored a close 59-57 triumph over the Iona Prep Gaels.
The Ravens (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Gaels battle the St. Peter's Eagles (Staten Island, NY) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, December 22. Iona Prep will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 51-46 non-league win over Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA).
