February 6, 2025: New Rochelle, NY 10804 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) and the visiting Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY), observed Iona Prep's basketball team knock off Archbishop Stepinac by a score of 73-64.
The Gaels (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ). The Ironmen come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Don Bosco Prep prevailed over Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY), 66-60, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Archbishop Stepinac will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
