The Braxton County Eagles nipped the visiting Ritchie County Rebels basketball squad by a final score of 64-57 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles face the Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV) in a Little Kanawha - East outing, on Saturday, December 28. Braxton County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.

The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers enter the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Lincoln County was nipped by Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH), 65-38, in a non-league outing.
