The Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) basketball edged the host South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV), 62-55 in Saturday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Doddridge County for a Little Kanawha - East bout on Tuesday, February 4. Braxton County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-54 non-league loss to Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, South Harrison falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3.
