December 27, 2022: Mount Desert, ME 04660 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) and the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), saw Foxcroft Academy's basketball squad hold off Mount Desert Island by a tally of 47-40.
With the victory, Foxcroft Academy improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Ponies host Caribou (Caribou, ME) to confront the Vikings in a B North challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Caribou won 60-31 in their recent league challenge against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) in a B North challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Mount Desert Island will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 64-53 league win over John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME).
