The Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) basketball crushed the host Orono Riots (Orono, ME), 51-19 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME). The Wildcats go into the B North test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Presque Isle walloped Houlton (Houlton, ME), 46-40, in a league test.

The Riots now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bucksport for a B North test on Thursday, January 12. Orono will encounter a Golden Bucks squad coming off a 50-27 league loss to Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Golden Bucks record now stands at 1-7.
