Maine High School Basketball - Caribou overwhelms Mount Desert Island
December 22, 2022: Mount Desert, ME 04660 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) and the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), saw Caribou's basketball squad wallop Mount Desert Island by a tally of 60-31.
With the victory, Caribou improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to confront the Ponies in a B North challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Ponies come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Trojans confront the Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME) in a B North challenge, on Friday, December 23. Mount Desert Island will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 66-38 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME).
