The Southwestern Randolph Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Trinity Bulldogs to 60 in the Cougars league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Chatham Charter for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Southwestern Randolph will confront a Knights team coming off a 40-33 non-league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-6.
