December 29, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87121 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), saw West Mesa's basketball squad wallop Cibola by a count of 74-47.
With the victory, West Mesa upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Hobbs lost 57-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)
Next up, the Cougars play the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Cibola will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 48-44 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
