Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS) and the host Pearl River Central Blue Devils (Carriere, MS), saw Stone's basketball squad hold off Pearl River Central by a tally of 62-61.

With the victory, Stone improves its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. St. Martin won 74-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Poplarville (Poplarville, MS)
