Texas High School Basketball - Groveton thwarts Trinity
December 3, 2022: Trinity, TX 75862 The Groveton Indians (Groveton, TX) basketball knocked off the host Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX), 35-20 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Indians (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Cayuga (Cayuga, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Cayuga notched a victory over Arp (Arp, TX), 34-31, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Crockett for a 3A Region III District 23 test on Tuesday, December 6. Trinity will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-41 non-league win over Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
