The Mother McAuley Mighty Macs basketball team (Chicago, IL), was nudged 43-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL)

The Knights now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrew for a SouthWest Suburban - Red battle on Thursday, January 5. Lincoln-Way Central will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 62-45 non-league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 7-6.
