Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), 55-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mother McAuley upgrades its record to 18-11 on the campaign. The Mighty Macs travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to play the Celtics in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Celtics come into the bout with a record of 20-10. Providence Catholic won 44-40 in their recent non-league bout against DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL)
