December 5, 2023: Palatine, IL 60074 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) and the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), saw Palatine's basketball squad wallop Elk Grove by a tally of 56-32.
With the victory, Palatine improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pirates host Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL) to confront the Hawks in a Mid-Suburban - West challenge on Friday, December 8. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Hoffman Estates won 75-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL)
Next up, the Grenadiers confront the Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge, on Friday, December 8. Elk Grove will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 67-29 non-league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL).
