Illinois High School Basketball - Palatine fells Cary-Grove
January 5, 2024: Cary, IL 60013 Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), 45-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Palatine upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Pirates travel to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to clash with the Bison in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Buffalo Grove won 51-33 in their recent non-league bout against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) in a Fox Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Cary-Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 59-55 non-league loss to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL).
