Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) and the visiting Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL), saw Cary-Grove's basketball squad hold off Hampshire by a tally of 35-31.

With the victory, Cary-Grove improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Jacobs (Algonquin, IL) to play the Golden Eagles in a Fox Valley challenge on Friday, December 8. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Jacobs won 48-46 in their recent league challenge against Huntley (Huntley, IL)
