Illinois High School Basketball - Dundee-Crown nips Cary-Grove
December 1, 2023: Carpentersville, IL 60110 Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), 41-40 in a league bout.
With the win, Dundee-Crown upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Chargers host Central (Burlington, IL) to play the Rockets in a Fox Valley bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Central lost 53-51 in their recent league bout against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL)
Next up, the Trojans play the Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Cary-Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 63-54 league win over North Chicago (North Chicago, IL).
