Illinois High School Basketball - McHenry holds off Cary-Grove
February 13, 2024: McHenry, IL 60050 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) and the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), saw McHenry's basketball squad hold off Cary-Grove by a tally of 58-51.
With the victory, McHenry improves its record to 23-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Huntley (Huntley, IL) to confront the Red Raiders in a Fox Valley challenge on Friday, February 16. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 19-10. Huntley won 51-36 in their recent league challenge against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Friday, February 16. Cary-Grove will attempt to improve on its 14-16 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 21-9 record after their 54-51 league win over Hampshire (Hampshire, IL).
