Illinois High School Basketball - Crystal Lake South nips Cary-Grove
February 2, 2024: Cary, IL 60013 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) and the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), saw Crystal Lake South's basketball squad hold off Cary-Grove by a tally of 47-43.
With the victory, Crystal Lake South improves its record to 23-2 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Huntley (Huntley, IL) to battle the Red Raiders in a Fox Valley battle on Tuesday, February 6. The Red Raiders come into the battle with a record of 17-9. Huntley won 73-68 in their recent league battle against Central (Burlington, IL)
The Trojans (12-14) will now prepare for their battle against Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Tigers come into the Fox Valley battle with a 6-20 record.
