Illinois High School Basketball - Woodstock overwhelms Harvard
December 5, 2023: Harvard, IL 60033 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) and the host Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), saw Woodstock's basketball squad wallop Harvard by a tally of 73-43.
With the victory, Woodstock improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks host Marengo (Marengo, IL) to play the Indians in a Kishwaukee River challenge on Friday, December 8. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Marengo lost 56-42 in their recent league challenge against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL)
Next up, the Hornets play the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Harvard will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 45-34 non-league loss to Belvidere (Belvidere, IL).
