December 6, 2023: Poplar Grove, IL 61065 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) and the visiting Harvard Hornets (Harvard, IL), saw North Boone's basketball squad wallop Harvard by a tally of 66-31.
With the victory, North Boone improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, IL) to confront the Blue Streaks in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Woodstock won 79-53 in their recent league challenge against Marengo (Marengo, IL)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) in a Kishwaukee River challenge, on Friday, December 8. Harvard will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 53-41 league loss to Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL).
