Virginia High School Basketball - J.I. Burton fells Holston
December 5, 2023: Damascus, VA 24236 J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA), 64-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, J.I. Burton upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Black Raiders host Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Patrick Henry won 86-32 in their recent non-league bout against Council (Council, VA)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Holston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Tornado go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 83-50 non-league loss to East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY).
