Virginia High School Basketball - Holston routs Council
November 28, 2023: Council, VA 24260 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Council Cobras (Council, VA), by a margin of 73-18.
The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Grundy (Grundy, VA). The Golden Wave go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Grundy smashed Richlands (Richlands, VA), 67-25, in a non-league outing.
The Cobras now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Castlewood for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 5. Council will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.
