The Grundy Golden Wave basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Holston Cavaliers to 31 in the Golden Wave non-league victory on Thursday.

The Golden Wave now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pike County Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5.

The Cavaliers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against J.I. Burton (Norton, VA). The Black Raiders go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, J.I. Burton was trounced by Northwood (Saltville, VA), 52-48, in a non-league test.
