December 5, 2023: Corydon, IA 50060 The Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils basketball team (Martensdale, IA), was overwhelmed 44-18 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA)
The Falcons now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Union for a Pride of Iowa battle on Friday, December 8. Wayne will confront a Eagles team coming off a 46-41 league loss to Central Decatur (Leon, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
The Blue Devils (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks come into the Pride of Iowa battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Southeast Warren trounced East Union (Afton, IA), 73-36, in a league battle.
