Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils (Martensdale, IA), 56-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Mount Ayr upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Southwest Valley (Corning, IA) to play the in a Pride of Iowa bout on Tuesday, January 9. The go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Southwest Valley lost 53-51 in their recent league bout against Central Decatur (Leon, IA)
