January 30, 2024: Mount Ayr, IA 50854 The Nodaway Valley Wolverines basketball team (Greenfield, IA), was overwhelmed 67-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA)
The Raiders now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Decatur for a Pride of Iowa battle on Thursday, February 1. Mount Ayr will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 45-42 league loss to Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-8.
The Wolverines (1-16) will now prepare for their battle against Central Decatur (Leon, IA). The Cardinals come into the Pride of Iowa battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Central Decatur was overwhelmed by Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA), 66-48, in a league battle.
