Illinois High School Basketball - Rockridge crushes Orion
December 5, 2023: Orion, IL 61273 Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), 74-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Rockridge upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Rockets travel to Moline (Moline, IL) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 5-1.
Next up, the Chargers clash with the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) in a Three Rivers - West bout, on Friday, December 8. Orion will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 46-38 league loss to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL).
