Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) and the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), saw North Stanly's basketball squad wallop Anson by a count of 53-25.

With the victory, North Stanly upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Comets host South Davidson (Denton, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. South Davidson lost 61-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Chesterfield Golden Rams (Chesterfield, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
