The North Stanly Comets topped the visiting West Stanly Colts basketball team by a final score of 56-42 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Comets face the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 15. North Stanly will attempt to move on its 10-0 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 73-31 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC).
