Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Milby Buffs (Houston, TX) and the visiting Westside Wolves (Houston, TX), saw Milby's basketball squad overcome Westside by a tally of 53-42.

With the victory, Milby improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Buffs travel to Madison (Houston, TX) to play the Marlins in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Marlins come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Madison won 85-70 in their recent league challenge against Sharpstown (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Wolves play the Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Westside will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Lobos come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to Alief Elsik (Houston, TX).
